started out with the front two panels and the sash in seed stitch
and here we have the back piece and the starting of the sleeves on one long circular needle
and here it is all pieced together with the collar and trim just ready to get seamed. this is the point where i first decided to try it on and realized that it wasn't going to fit even with some creative blocking. so off to the frog pond with thee i say!!!!!!!
note to self: the next time you frog this much yarn, wind it into new balls immediately!!!!!! this took forever to untangle and rewind.......
so now we're onto a new spring/summer top that i made up myself. i'm drawing pieces of paper out of a hat to determine the random striping. and since i'm lazy, i'm just carrying the yarn up the sides as i go. it's a sort of 70's glammy blouse type thing. we'll see.........
here's the front all done. the sleeves are incorporated too. i'll just add a ribbed trim to them after it's all seamed up. but i need to do the back now. i think i'll do it in all black. those stripes are a bit much to continue on the back.....
here's the back. i know, a big, black blob. not all that exciting........
front and back all done and all ends woven in. now it just needs to be seamed up........
